Background
Like many product professionals, I didn’t start in UX Research or Product, but it’s been the common thread throughout my career. I began in tech support, listening daily to users struggle with broken experiences. I needed to understand why things were falling short. That question became the driving force behind every step I took.
As a Product Owner, I dug into metrics to uncover answers. But something was still missing. I needed to get closer to the real story — to the people behind the data.
That’s when UX Research clicked. It gave me the space to explore real human truths and uncover the root causes of poor experiences, often a lack of research itself.
I see my journey as a map across the product development lifecycle: tech support, product ownership, and UX research. I’ve seen it all — and that’s what makes me a uniquely well-rounded product professional. UX Research is where I finally connected the dots and found the greatest opportunity to make a real impact.
My philosophy
At its core, I believe research and product are a team sport. Making it work for everyone means creating the right conditions (almost like a garden where ideas can bloom) where insights are accessible, trusted, and acted upon. That’s the kind of impact I’m most proud of delivering.
I cut through the noise and connect the dots — moving from insights to data to decisions. My work turns partial understanding into deep clarity, building strong foundations for customer knowledge, competitive awareness, and innovation. I see each research project as an atom: small on its own, but powerful when connected, forming the core of an informed, resilient product strategy.
My Journey
What fuels me?
I’ve always been drawn to impacting what truly moves the needle — whether it was leading a platform migration that redefined Doodle’s UX, or launching a loyalty card integration at Everli that strengthened retailer relationships and boosted user engagement.
As I moved into UX research, I brought that same focus on impact.
For example, a “Customer Love” initiative empowered Doodle to fix core usability issues and lifted subscriptions by 13%.
I used mixed methods to uncover why users churn, reshape positioning, and speed up research delivery by automating operations, all while securing greater buy-in and increasing my influence on product decisions.
How I Cut Through the Noise:
My 3A Approach
Accuracy – I combine qualitative and quantitative data sources to create a clear, truthful picture that’s hard to ignore.
Actionability – Insights only matter when they lead to action. I translate complexity into clarity, helping teams move from abstract problems to concrete product decisions.
Agility – Timely insights are the lifeblood of competitive teams. I deliver research that’s responsive, relevant, and ready when it matters most.
